Now nearing the end of
his road trip with Deep Purple, guitarist Joe Satriani sets his sights on a
late-2004 headlining run.
Billed as "An Evening
with Joe Satriani"--meaning no opening act will appear--the tour's first leg
is now scheduled to kick off in Atlanta on Oct. 6, and runs through the end
of that month. A handful of late-December dates are also set, and the
six-stringer's itinerary currently ends with a New Year's Day performance in
Anaheim, CA.
In addition to
tickets sold through traditional outlets, Satriani's
website is offering two premium ticket
packages. Prices are set at $75 to $200, and the more expensive of the two
entitles the buyer to a meet-and-greet with Satriani, as well as seats in
the first three rows. More information is posted at the site. |
